Yvette Bartlett

Principal & Co-Director

Yvette started her love of theatre at the age of 10 when she appeared in local amateur shows .She studied A-level Drama whilst at college, and performed in many local productions  including Jesus Christ Superstar, Return to The Forbidden Planet, Annie, Oliver! & Chess. She has a very musical family where both her mum and dad performed on stage. Her mum now helps out making costumes for KATS.  Yvette is a learning support assistant in a local primary school. In her spare time, when she is not working or teaching drama, Yvette enjoys spending time with her dog and performing on stage with a local musical group.

 

Gillian Hughes

Co-Director

Gill has been part of KAT's for over 10 years. I also help with directing any shows that we decide to put on each year.

 

 

Jodie Brough

Choreographer

Jodie's love of dance started when she was three, studying for ISTD, RAD and IDTA examinations, alongside performing. After gaining a Degree in Dance and Culture, she took up a teaching post as Head of Dance at a secondary school and sixth form; teaching GCSE and A Level Dance and Performing Arts. During this time, Jodie also performed in and choreographed for an operatic society in musicals such as Oklahoma, Thoroughly Modern Millie and 42nd Street. Jodie is now a primary school teacher and PE Subject Leader, and likes to keep fit through attending adult tap and ballet classes as well as choreographing for KATS..
